A personal beginning.

Hi, I’m John.

DryClip began after a loved one spent time in a hospital bed and remained in a wet garment longer than they should have because no one realized it needed to be changed. Watching that happen stayed with me. I couldn’t stop wondering why there wasn’t a simple way to know the moment moisture was first detected.

So I decided to build one.

What started as an idea turned into months of learning, designing, testing, and refining. I designed the hardware, wrote the firmware, developed the mobile app, and built countless prototypes to create a product that’s reliable, comfortable, and easy to use.

Building DryClip hasn’t always been easy. There were plenty of late nights, setbacks, and redesigns, but every challenge helped make the product better. Seeing it become a reality, and knowing it has the potential to make caregiving a little easier, has made the journey incredibly rewarding.
